Manuscript Consulting/Developmental Editing Services
I have many years of experience giving (and receiving!) feedback on manuscripts in writing groups, workshops, and one-on-one. My area of expertise is middle-grade and contemporary realistic fiction. I'm not much of a fantasy/sci-fi reader, but I have enjoyed MG books in these genres, such as The Last Cuentista. I especially enjoy tender realistic fiction that deals with tough topics: Fighting Words, Dear Mothman, King and the Dragonflies, etc. I enjoy working closely with writers to take their work to the next step, whether that means looking at big-picture, structural/developmental revisions or sentence-level editing.
